What does a home EV charger install involve?
A switchboard check, a dedicated circuit to where you park, the wall unit mounted and wired, then testing and certification. Most homes are done in a day.
Will my switchboard cope with a charger?
That's the first thing we check. Many boards handle a 7kW charger fine. Older or crowded boards may need an upgrade, and if so it goes in the same fixed quote, never a mid-job surprise.
How much faster is a wall charger than a normal power point?
A standard power point trickles. A dedicated wall charger typically charges several times faster, which for most drivers means a full battery overnight, every night.
Can I charge my car from solar?
Yes. With the right setup your charger can prioritise your own solar during the day. If you have panels, or you want them, we'll design the two to work together.
Do you do workplace charging too?
We do. Shops, offices and depots across the Wide Bay. Same approach: assess the supply, quote it fixed, install it tidy.
Which chargers do you install?
The common brands, Tesla and others. If you've already bought a unit we'll fit that. If you haven't, we'll recommend one that suits your car and your board rather than whatever we have in stock.
